April 2007 - Sports Authority Distribution Center
Andrews Excavation is pleased to announce one of our latest contract awards – the new Sports Authority Distribution Center in McDonough, Georgia. This project has many complex components and is definitely one of this year’s high-profile projects on Atlanta’s Southside. The project scope for Andrews includes all clearing, grading, detention pond construction, retaining walls, storm water infrastructure, erosion control, installation of domestic water & sewer lines, paving, curb & gutter, and landscaping.

“This is a great project for Andrews & Henry County”, says Drew Andrews, President & CEO of Andrews Excavation. The project is underway and the site activities are going very well. “Andrews is the best grading contractor we’ve ever worked with”, says Jeff Freeman, Site Superintendent.

Andrews wins the Bellah Landing project; a large planned community in Stockbridge, Georgia. The project is being developed by Southern Lumber.

Andrews wins the Strong Rock Christian School project including a state-of-the-art private school, football stadium, baseball & softball fields, a soccer field, an outdoor amphitheatre, a rodeo training facility, & a 2 mile 4 lane access road.
